A real conversation
Not one about what happened last Friday, not one about the business of others, not one about the latest of material things that have become popular.. I mean a stimulating, engaging exchange of ideas and thoughts. One with obvious knowledge of what’s really going on with the world. Something about change, about love, about peace. Anything worth more than the usual teen-aged dilemmas. Not just between human beings, but within one’s self too. I want to know why a strong person is strong and what really makes someone weak. I want to know if anyone has been planning on changing the world. I want to know the value of a person’s character without them having to describe it themselves but, with a real conversation, I will see it.
I’m tired of the mindless chatter, I want to have at least one conversation that could keep me thinking that the youth isn’t wasting themselves after all.
